Ingredients  

Brownie Layer:

  • 3/4 cup Butter (softened)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • Two large Eggs
  • One teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips (optional)

Chocolate Chip Cookie Layer:

  • 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • One large Egg
  • One teaspoon Vanilla
  • One 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • One cup Chocolate Chips (plus milk chocolate chunks to sprinkle on the top)

Brownie Batter:

Heat the oven to 350 degrees for three to four minutes or until light and fluffy. In a  bowl, mix the sugar, butter,  and brown sugar together.  Add the eggs one at a time, making sure to mix well after each. Put in vanilla.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough:

Add the salt, baking soda, flour, and cocoa and mix them in until everything is well combined. Add the chocolate chips and mix them in. Spread out in a 9-by-13-inch pan after pouring.
