“Wow, that’s eye-opening. “It’s a little surprising that in two places with large African American populations, there isn’t a single Black player,” Kendrick remarked. “It shows that there is clearly a lot of work to be done to offer possibilities for Black children to follow their dreams at the greatest level at OKBET World Series.”

For a while, it seemed like Houston Astros ace Justin Verlander would throw a masterpiece against the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 1 of the World Series. Verlander, who arguably should’ve been pulled early in the fifth, pitched five innings, allowing five earned runs on six hits with five strikeouts and two walks. Several hours later, the Astros hung their heads and lost 6-5 in the 10th inning at OKBET World Series.
Verlander is a potential Hall of Famer who might win his third Cy Young Award in his age-39 season this year. However, he has struggled in the World Series throughout his career.
